My Grandfather was a woodworker and made many things, tables, candle sticks picture frames, lamps, clocks. I have an old small table that he made a long, long time ago. It was looking kind of beat up. I really didn't want to get rid of it, because I only have a few things of what he made, and I like having things he made around to bring back the memories of watching him work and the smell of the wood. So, I didn't think I had anything to lose... LOL The table isn't exactly level so I had to figure that out first. second, some of the bark on the edges was loose, so I glued that from the underside. Then I sprayed a gloss clear coat on the sides (the bark) but I put Artresin on the top. (This is an amazing product! No odor, epoxy) I actually did a couple of coats so it self-leveled. I brought it all the way out to the edges of the bark, which also secured the bark to the table. It's so much more stable now!!! YAY!! It's like a new table! So shiny and new. I love how Artresin.com made it look. It is in a prominent place in the family room.
